 Grandmothers’ Footsteps

Black History begins with grandmothers’ footsteps.

Rising because grandmothers never stopped walking.

Together we walk, together we rise, grandmother strong.

Black History Month at Kalina Digital Media, we honour the women who carried HERstory in their hands, their prayers, and their laughter, our grandmothers.

Across the world, from every culture and every lineage, grandmothers have been the quiet architects of survival, joy, resistance, and legacy. They held the stories. They held the families. They held the line.

We celebrate the Global Grandmothers’ Council Network that continues to shape our movements, our creativity, and our collective rising.

When we walk beside each other, across borders, across generations, across lived experience, we become stronger, wiser, and more deeply rooted in who we are.

Here’s to Black History, and HERstory.
